Fake hair Wigs Vs Human Hair Wigs

A lot of people aren't sure what the differences are between fake hair or real hair. It's actually a pretty small and obvious difference. The fake hair wigs are less expensive because they are NOT made with real hair. Instead, they are made with synthetic materials. This doesn't necessarily mean they are bad products, but I can tell you that they don't look nor feel the same as a human hair wig would. The human hair wigs ARE made from real hair that is weaved into the cap of the wig.

Many people across the country donate their hair for situations just like this. The hair is of a certain quality, and may be used with small amounts of synthetic materials, but they contain more real hair than anything else. These wigs truly look like they are your hair. European hair wigs or these cancer wigs come in all kinds of shapes, sizes, and colors.

Want to be a blond? How about a redhead or a brunette? No problem! Wish you could have a style like Raquel Welch? How about Angelina Jolie? or maybe you like another famous celeb! This is possible as well! You will also need to buy wig accessories for your human hair wig as well so that you can keep up with the maintenance. Ponytail wigs are also available for those of you that want an even more similar look to your original.

Ask your health insurance about Cancer Wigs coverage

This might sound obvious for some people, and for some - not so much. But, were you aware that your insurance most likely will pay for your cancer wigs? It's true! Of course your doctor has to write you a prescription for a "extra cranial prosthesis", which is indeed a wig! Some of the insurance companies will reimburse you while others will not. I just think this is an important product for a cancer patient. Besides, you should take a few steps before you get ready to get your wig.

First off, you should consider cutting your hair or shaving your head. It's less traumatic when it comes to losing your hair during chemotherapy. You should also look at a few salon books and see which one looks the best to you as far as length and color go. You can choose something close to your original style and hair, or you can choose something completely different from these European wigs. Also, try to pick out your wig before you start chemotherapy. The reason?

Chances are you will have more energy before the chemo starts and you will be more focused when choosing a cut and color. These human hair wig products come in all sorts of styles, colors, lengths and of course prices. Most women choose the human hair wig because it looks the realest. You can also find wig accessories and even ponytail wigs at www.MCwigs.com

European Hair Wigs - The Best in Quality Wigs!

When it comes time for you to take a look at cancer wigs because you are going through chemotherapy, or you simply want a new look without having to do anything to your real hair, you might start to notice that some wigs look just plain funny. I'm sorry, it's true! Not only do they look odd, but they are very unfashionable. If I were to wear a wig, I wouldn't want a style that my grandma wears. I would want that is sexy, stylish, and looks nice on me! If this is what you want, then you should stay away from classic wigs and instead start taking a look at cancer wigs or European hair wigs.

These wigs do cost a little more, but they also look and feel the realest, which is an important attribute to a lot of men and women when it comes to wearing a wig. After all you are wearing it with a purpose in mind. So if you buy one that looks fake or people KNOW is fake its sort of defeating the purpose, don't you think? These wigs can be "cut", styled, washed, etc. They are unlike any other wig available out there because they DO act or feel and look so darn real. So the price is worth it in the end because you accomplished what you wanted!

These wigs also come in ponytail wigs as well, if you want a sporty or cute look. You can choose from all sorts of lengths and colors as well as wig accessories. In fact, for this specific wig its suggested that you take care of it the same way you would your natural hair. Comb or brush it daily, wash it at least once a week, and keep it on a Styrofoam head to keep the shape of it going for years to come!

Wig Accessories Galore For All Your Wig Needs!

You simply cannot have a wig without having wig accessories. This is a sort of fantasy/whimsical /fashion statement for these wigs. Women of all shapes, sizes, colors, ethnicities and lifestyles wear these cool garbs. Frankly, if I ever bought a human hair wig, I couldn't just wear it as plain as it came. I would have to add accessories like barretts or clips to the wig as well. Other accessories may not even be used for looks, but rather for the actual wig usage such as wig caps, wig stands, comfy grip stands, shampoos and conditioners, brushes and combs, etc.

These wig accessories can be used for virtually ANY option such as European hair wigs, Remy wigs, cancer wigs, human hair wig or even ponytail wigs! I think people like wigs so much because it’s like an extension of their former self, but it's exciting and possibly sexy as well! You can choose from a completely different style than you have now. Maybe you always have your hair and plain. You could choose something super sleek and red or black or whatever color options you want. If it's a cancer wig you are after - you too can choose whatever option you darn well want.

You could even get one of these wigs as soon as you start losing your hair, and switch over right away to the same style you have now. No one would even know the difference, especially with these human hair wig products because they look and feel VERY real. These aren't the old synthetic or "plastic" feeling hair wigs from the old days. This is the year 2009, soon to be 2010, what more would you expect, accept for anything but the best!

Synthetic Wigs V.s Human Hair Wig Products - What Is The Difference?

Most people are going to tell you that there are TWO main differences between synthetic or "fake" hair versus human hair wig products. Number one the look. You simply cannot beat the look of real hair. Even a few years ago when they started using horse hair, it still didn't look like REAL human hair. And most people can tell! So if you want to look like you don't have a wig on and it's your natural hair, it's best to go with human hair wigs. Human hair costs a little more, but looks more real - so I guess it depends on you!

The second thing is the feel. You simply cannot compare synthetic to human hair. It’s like comparing apples to oranges. Synthetic hair has an almost "brittle" feel to it, like you can tell it’s made out of fibers versus real hair. We ALL know what real hair feels AND looks like. And frankly, if you are trying to pull of some Superwoman act where you want to BE yourself, but look different using hair wigs, then you are going to want to choose the best of the best for looks and feel.

These human hair wigs can be used for all types of things - even cancer patients might use cancer wigs when they start to lose their hair so. There are various kinds of wigs as well such as European and Remy as well as ponytail wigs and a numerous amount of wig accessories to choose from in order to keep your wig for years to come.

How Can I Take Care Of My Human Hair Wig?

Oftentimes depending on the type of wigs you buy, these can look really realistic and feel realistic. Some options you might be looking at are European hair wigs, Remy wigs, and ponytail wigs.

For the most part, your wig should be washed at least once a week. First off you need to comb the wig gently - be sure not to pull any hair out, but use the comb to remove knots and tangles.

Second step is to fill a bowl with cold or lukewarm water and add two tablespoons of shampoo into the water. You should then submerge the wig into the water and softly swish the wig around in the water to clean the wig. Make sure you also scrub the wig cap to remove any oils or dirt as well. Remove the wig and gently squeeze out the excess water and place the wig on the holder. Make sure you re-add water to the bowl and place the wig back in to get rid of all the shampoo!

You can either let this dry on its own, in the sun, or you can use your dryer on a very low setting to dry the wig. Once everything is dry, then you can comb and style it the way you want to! Always make sure when you aren't wearing the wig that you place it on the form! Wig accessories and human hair wigs can be found on our product website at www.MCwigs.com!
